Our Chief Executive Officer, Joanna Davidovich, spoke with El Mercurio newspaper, where she emphasized that salmon farming has been fundamental to the development of the southern macro zone in Chile, and a driver of growth due to continued development at sustainable rates.
She also addressed the environmental challenges facing the salmon industry. “Climate change is here to stay and we have to be responsible for its impacts,” she said. The strategic objective of the Council is to promote the competitive and sustainable development of Chilean salmon farming, in a manner that is respectful to the social context and the environment.
