Sady Delgado

General Manager AQUACHILE
Sady Delgado holds a Bachelor of Civil Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In 2001 he was appointed General Manager of Los Fiordos Ltda., a salmon farming company belonging to Agrosuper S.A. In 2018 and 2019, Agrosuper S.A. completed the purchase of AquaChile S.A., Salmones Magallanes S.A., and the salmon assets of Friosur S.A. The merger and integration of the four companies gave rise to AquaChile, which was integrated on April 1, 2019. Sady was appointed General Manager on the same day.
His career has focused strongly upon sustainability in the salmon industry. Los Fiordos was the founder of the Global Salmon Initiative. Sady has promoted changes to the industry model such as the suppression of lakes for salmon farming, the protection of sanitary patrimony through the non-importation of eggs, and the promotion of the highest production, environmental and sanitary standards in Chile.

Pedro Courard

General Manager CERMAQ
Steven Rafferty, a Scottish national, assumed the position of General Manager of Cermaq Chile in June 2019. He previously worked at the Cermaq Group from 2008 to 2010, serving as a Chief Financial Officer and then Chief Operating Officer of Cermaq Global Aquaculture. He has extensive experience in the aquaculture industry, holding executive positions in large global companies since 1993. He was Chief Executive Officer of Skretting and Chief Financial Officer at Mowi. In addition, throughout his career he has worked in the United Kingdom, Chile, the United States, the Netherlands and Norway. He lived in Chile between 1997 and 2002, where he acted as the Director of Finance of Mowi Chile.
As the head of Cermaq Chile, he strives to position the national aquaculture industry as a world leader in salmon production.

Fernando Villarroel

General Manager MOWI Chile
Fernando Villarroel has held the position of General Manager of Mowi Chile since May 2017. Previously, he was the Director of Operations at Cermaq Canada, where he lived for more than 10 years.
Fernando has worked in the salmon industry since 1997. He holds a Bachelor of Financial Auditing from the Universidad Austral de Chile.

Pablo Baraona

Director of Salmones Aysén
Pablo Baraona has more than 30 years of experience in the salmon industry. Initially, he was part of Salmones Tecmar. Pablo founded Salmones Aysén in 2006.
Since then he has focused on the company’s growth and on making a substantial contribution to the industry both in Chile and internationally.

Salvador Valdés

Independent Director
Salvador was senior advisor to the Ministry of Finance, member of the board of Larraín Vial AGF and also of BancoEstado. He was a consultant to the World Bank and advised several governments on pension funds and financial regulation issues.
Until July 2020, he served as a researcher at the Centro Latinoamericano de Políticas Económicas y Sociales (CLAPES-UC).
Currently, Salvador is an independent director at the Chilean Salmon Council, lecturer at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and is a free competition and economic regulation consultant.
