Chief Executive Officer
Joanna Davidovich holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She was awarded a Magister of Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Magister of Business Law from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. She has extensive experience in economic analysis and public policy design, both in the private and the public sectors. She was Director of the Competitiveness Office of the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, Executive Director of the Productivity Commission at the Confederación de la Producción y del Comercio (CPC), Chief of Advisors to the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, and also to the Ministry of Public Works. Along with her position as Chief Executive Officer of the Salmon Council, she is the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Port of San Antonio.
Director of Research
Jorge Lira was awarded both a Bachelor of Business Engineering and a Master of Economic Analysis from the Universidad de Chile. In 2017 he was a researcher with the economic team of the Instituto Libertad y Desarrollo, where he participated in a series of studies on public policies in the fields of energy, environment, and mining. Between 2018 and 2020 he was an advisor to the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism. He has worked in the National Office of Productivity and Entrepreneurship and was an advisor in the areas of fishing and aquaculture.
Director of Legal Affairs
Mónica Cortés graduated from the Universidad de Chile with a Bachelor of Law. She then went on to achieve a Master of Regulatory Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She was further awarded Diplomas in Electrical Regulation, Administrative Economic Law, and Regulation and Competition by the Universidad de Chile. She has worked on free competition and regulated industries issues in different organizations and companies, serving as an associate of the Ferrada Nehme Law Firm, Secretary Lawyer of the Panel of Energy Experts and is responsible for regulatory issues at Pacific Hydro.
Director of Communications
Silvana Celedón successfully achieved a Bachelor of Journalism from the Universidad Diego Portales, and a Diploma in Finance and Politics from the Universidad de Chile. She was deputy editor of Economics at Diario Financiero, and when working as a reporter at Diario El Mercurio, Silvana covered the areas of macroeconomics and public policy. She was Chief of Press for the Ministry of Finance between 2018 and 2019 and then served as Chief of Communications in the Undersecretariat of Social Evaluation.
